warm welcome awaits you at Winkworth Farm, a working Organic Farm and
home to The Newman Family for over a Century. Organic
beef and cereals are grown on the 230 acres of land, with woodlands,
flora, ponds and pastures making it a pleasant and peaceful hideaway
for guests and wildlife alike. Situated on the Wiltshire/Gloucestershire border, and accessed via a mile long private drive from the village of Lea, we are just two miles east of historic Malmesbury, England's oldest borough, with it's Norman Abbey, Abbey House Gardens......and additional fame following the 'Tamworth Two Pigs' !!!!! Jeremy Newman was managing the family abattoir from where Butch and Sundance famously escaped by swimming the river Avon causing a worldwide media hunt during January 1998. now runs the farm with his wife Melanie, they diversified in 1999
