Events at Winkworth are always organised with great care and attention to detail with each guest receiving individual tuition. We cater for all types of groups from companies large & small to stag or hen parties & Ladies days. Each booking has exclusive use of the venue for the duration of the stay. We are very fortunate as a family business to have our own land, specialising in Clay Pigeon Shooting & Blind Driving for groups of 10 plus. Prices from £45 per head, smaller group bookings are available at a premium rate. The Sporting Clay shoot situated within woodlands has a combination of six different stands - suitable for the novice to the more accomplished shot, under the watchful eye of our instructors, even the most anxious of guests have had success.

Our Clay Shooting days are all inclusive with everything you need including, Instruction, Clays, Cartridges, Safety Spectacles and Protective Headwear. We also supply you with food and complimentary drinks and trophies for the lucky winners!

Typical Itinerary (times flexible) 11am : Arrival, registration & Safety Briefing. Bacon Rolls, Croissants, assorted Pastries, Fresh Coffee, Tea, Fruit Juices & Newspapers. Noon : 50 Bird Clay Shoot with Instructor & assistants, refreshments served throughout the afternoon. 16.00 : (times may vary depending on experience of guests shooting) Return to Farm for Beer, Cider, Wine or assorted soft drinks. Followed by a hearty sit down meal. (Vegetarian options are available)

Example Menu : Roast West Country Beef Yorkshire Pudding Seasonal Vegetables Horseradish Sauce & Gravy Red & White wine available & Spring water with meal. Choice of Homemade Puddings : Banoffee Pie Lemon Tart & Thick Cream Chocolate Roulade Strawberry Cheesecake Large Cheese board & Biscuits served with a glass of Port. Finally, after the meal the results of the Clay Shoot will be announced and the trophies presented to the winners. Departure from the venue is at your leisure.
