It’s in the details…

Winkworth Farm is licensed to host civil ceremonies in three beautiful locations: the Main Threshing Barn for up to 200 seated guests, the Long Barn for up to 150 guests, and the outdoor Cotswold Stone Roundhouse in the sunken garden for up to 148 guests. If you prefer a Church service, Malmesbury Abbey and several nearby Churches welcome couples from outside the local parish.

The indoor ceremony area is separate from the main barn where the wedding breakfast is held, with partitions in place to ensure privacy and avoid distractions. This also means you can keep the reception space a surprise for your guests until later in the day.

A high-quality sound system with wireless microphones is available for indoor ceremonies, speeches, and the wedding breakfast, while a BOSE sound system in the garden ensures excellent audio for outdoor ceremonies and drinks receptions. For your wedding breakfast, you can choose from a selection of passionate local caterers who use the finest local produce, with plenty of menu inspiration and options like wood-fired pizzas for evening snacks.

During your wedding breakfast, your band or DJ can set up discreetly in the indoor ceremony area, ensuring a seamless transition to the evening celebration. Once speeches are finished, the partitions are removed to reveal the dance floor, creating an open-plan space where guests can dance, relax or step outside to the folly.

Onsite accommodation is available for up to fifteen guests in Winkworth Grove, Winkworth Farmhouse, and the Courtyard Barn - the latter being a perfect retreat for two. Additional local accommodation options include hotels, B&Bs, holiday cottages and camping - catering to all budgets.

We pride ourselves as a relaxed, exclusive use venue, aiming to be flexible with each and every booking. Want to know more about Winkworth Farm? Simply get in touch to book a viewing.
